Is the name Miss Bimbo all that accurate? Certain aspects of the game - i.e. raising IQ - seem to go against the standard definition of "bimbo".

Other than catching Miss Bimbo up with Ma Bimbo, do you have any plans for expanding the website in the future? Do you think at any point there will be a place to shop for real clothes inspired by the Miss Bimbo game, much like the botique on Ma Bimbo?

Are there any other options that you would like to have avalible to the players in the future?

Are do you have any regrets in the way the game is currently set up? Are there any changes that you would like to make to the game?

Got a few questions to get started Smiley

When you began to design the breast implants et al. controversy, did you think you would get this much coverage, along with the number negative comments&articles that came with them?

What was your inspiration for Miss Bimbo?

And finally has the game progressed and developed the way you thought it would have whilst planning, and if not why do you think it was?

To start with Robin,
I thinkthe breast implants outrage was way over the top. I think it was insulting to players of all ages to suggest that people can't see the difference between buying a bimbo a boob job and having an operation in real life. We have added some advice about body issues on the forum but we didn't want to remove this aspect the game lik some media asked us to do.

Nico (Jacquart - aka Koopa) and his French colleagues came up with teh original concept. In France ma bimbo. My bimbo.com was taken so we called it Miss Bimbo! Sweet as a nut. We thought about changing the name and  an American partner told us to do so but then it immediately lost its edge. Bimbos are cool - lets not forget that!

Anyway I will get some Lunch and be back later

Chris

I read that you plan to add diet advice and tips in the game for your players?...I think this is a really good idea. (Although I doubt this will get you the same publicity Smiley )

Was this always the plan or a reaction to the bad press?

Actually I have to admit a lot of the time we seem to be acting very much on trial and eror. We always have one milion things we ant to do and add to the site. We are contantly reacting and acting to the wishes of the players, press, moderators and ourselves. It is an interesting mix of making a cool site, cool game, col community and being responsible to everyones needs! Not easy but fun nonetheless.

I have some prequestions:

Was Miss Bimbo created to in a way expose girls to the fads of the real world, such as breast implants, and hope that they realized that things like that are fun on games, but require serious consideration in real life, or did you just decide to incorporate real-life experiences with a virtual game?

Do you think that Miss Bimbo teaches girls to have the wrong ideas on how to be beautiful and succesful by incorporating things such as 'Bimbo Cred' and challenge rooms where bimbos go against each other in a winner takes all fashion show?

Did you ever consider putting an age limit on Miss Bimbo seeing that girls as young as 9 may be tempted to try some of the things in the game, such as crash dieting, it real life?

Thank you Grin

Well Nico originally wanted to create a fashion game. He is int fashion himself and thus wanted to create something for fashionable people. A game that involved fashion in some way. Somehow it has evolved to a community of bimbos! The game is still fashion based but now we worship and stand up for the right of the bimbo. We incorporate stuff into the site that is cool. We already have a backlog of a million ideas we want to add eg tattoos, real brands etc etc

Yes we looked at the age limit thing. If a playeer is under 13 they cant send orrecive messages privately or in the forum. We thought about having th game for over 13s but decided this is not necessary. I wholeheartedly believe that the content is in no way damaging to anyone of any age. There is no mention of the term crash dieting as used by some idiots in the press.

Do you cater for a specific age group , the negative press stated the Miss Bimbo is aimed at young girls , however lots of players are 25+. I see Miss Bimbo as a sort of The Simpsons like quality  , adults get the humour and irony and younger players enjoy it for its own merits.
Is it difficult to appeal to such a broad spectrum , do you take any advice on what girls/woman want. It always makes me laugh a bunch of guys run the show , you must really know what makes the ladies tick ?

A lot of the controversy in the media regarding Miss Bimbo seems to revolve around a central issue: Does the responsibility of making sure that children don't get onto certain websites fall to the parents, or should the internet and website companies be shouldering this responsibility? How do you feel about this issue?

Did you ever expect this game to become so popular, or the media to focus so strongly on Miss Bimbo?

How do you feel that Miss Bimbo compares to other games on the internet, computer, or gaming systems in terms of negatively influencing children? In other words, with all the violent "shoot-em-up" games out there, do you think Miss Bimbo is really that bad?

If you had a 12 year old daughter, would you let her play Miss Bimbo?

Do you think Miss Bimbo teaches girls the wrong values?

If a middle-school aged girl was brought up with great morals, values, and goals, do you think something like a game on the internet could sway those morals, values and goals?

Sorry had lots of questions!!!  Smiley

Hello.
1) Your first question is very interesting. It is something we have long thought about. For us we know we have a responsibility to society and to our players. We have a large amount of people reading the stuff on our site and as such we must be responsible for what they read. Damaging material is no good to anyone. That said we have a responsibility to our players to make a cool game with some attitude and a bit of style. If we allow the press to dictate to us every last details of the game then we will have a very bland game called misssugarlumps.com
So it is a difficult balance. But we think we can pullit off by listening to the media, society and our players. The most important people though are the cool members of the bimbo community. The bimbo massive. The bimbo stars.

2) No it was an utter surpsrise the media outrage. It shocked us to the core and we were like fish out of water not knowing what to say and how to react. So we just did our best and took it all on the chin.

3) We feel that Miss Bimbo got harshly treated. There are hundreds of killer games out there and our game had a boob job. Thats it. It was an overreaction by a bored media with too much time on their hands and not enough news. Its the result of 24 hour news channels. They need something to talk about and what better than a new company damaging middle western society? Our game is no worse than a million games out there. However our game is cooler as a lot of internet games are very bland and have no edge to them at all.

4) Absolutely. I have cousins aged 13,11 and 9 years old (cousins). I encourage them to play and feel great they are on our site. I know they will enjoy themselves in a safe cool environment with other cool people. They will learn alot and have a great time. Why not?

5) No I don't think it teaches them wrong values. I am not going to be presumptious enough to thinkt hat Miss Bimbo has much is if any at all any influence on their character. I think that does a dis service to our players. They merely come along and enjoy themselves. There is nothing wrong with that.

i was thinking the french site has lots of nice clothes and new designes why doesn't the english verion invent the designs , but not take them from the french. like we would be oringinal and not copy the french!
The french say that we are jealous cause they have better clothes then we. We can be equal by having our own designs!
also i wanted to ask this question if your best friend is going to be away all summer and she doesn't want to sedn her bimbo on holiday as she wants  to level up, why can't someone else taker care of hers?? I know you would say she would cheeat but if she would have allready been in the podium and she gets more money she doesn't need to cheat! why cant that happen??

Thanks! FunkyEli the funkiest of them all! Tongue:P

Hi! here's my questions for the Miss Bimbo crew:

Do you think that a bimbos look is reflecting how the creator is?

How do you react when some people get offended by not beeing able to create a bimbo that is black, asian (and so on...)?

Do you think that the big choice between clothing, inspires the player to get in touch with their imagination and inner designer?

If you could choose any celebrity in the world to front Miss Bimbo, who would it be?

Miss Bimbo is dominated by the girls...Can you give me a good reason to why a boy should play it?

Eva

1) I suppose there is a correlation between the creator and the look of her bimbo yes.
2) we are working on haviong differing looks for different bimbos, weight, height skin colour.
3) absolutely. I think if a player has creativity other bimbos notice this and give her a high credibility rating. We want to introduce a catwalk function in the future so players can vote on each others bimbos style etc
4) Nice question! For me it has to be Paris Hilton. Does anyone here no her?? Would you mind asking her for us if she will become the uofficial Patron of Missbimbo.com?? For me she is coolest bimbo around and always has been.
Other bimbos Ilike are Britney, Chantelle Houghton (UK), Channelle and Margeret Thatcher. (I hear Margaret Thatcher is a secret bimbo player!)
5) Right now we are working on a boys game to complememt Miss Bimbo. It will be realeasein september. 73% of miss bimbo players are girls but dont write off the 17% of himbos!

Very interesting to hear your point of view, and a great article thirteen1 produced.

-I would like to know are you secretly happy with the bad pr you got?

- we all know journos just twist and copy stories from each other, which was the most in-accurate report on the game and what was the stupidest question you got asked?

Bobo
1) PR. Well yes we'd be lying if I didnt say that the bad PR gave us free publicity. However it was bloody scary and bloody stressful! So overall I can't say whether it was worth it. On one hand it was good but on the other bad. We would prefer good PR ! It also doesnt halp that everyone has very negative connottation with Miss Bimbo and that will take a long long time to get over if at all! We are lucky though as the core bimbo community remain! long live the bimbo.

2) Jounos??!!! dont get me started vecause I will start swearing. They are a law unto themself. It seems they can write whatever they want and theres nothiung we can doabout it. There were so many inaccurate reports it was untrue. I got asked some ridiculous questions about my moral integrity and my parentage amongst others., The thing that iks me as that 99% of the journos hadn't even been on the site and were using a chinese whispers method of journalism. There was alot of sloppy journalism around that day I can tell you.

My question is:

If you could go back and begin the website again would there be anything you would of done differently/or changed due to the fact that you had bad press and if you wouldn't change anything why is that?

Lozzy,
No I have to say that we wouldnt do anything differently because its too easy to do that. I regret not standing up for ourselves more to some journalists who walked all over us but thats about it.

The BBC spoke to me about Miss Bimbo , when i said i was a university educated 30 year old with a fabulous body image and lots of common sense . On Radio 1 they got a bit annoyed becase i corrected all the lies and gave credit to the younger girls who are very savvy.

Not a question , more a comment.

Ok, my first question is: Do you guys plan to ever make the English game comparable to the French game? If yes, when and how will this be implemented? If no, why is this not possible?

My second question is: How did you guys come up with the concept of the game? What kind of game did you intend to make when you sat down and started coding? How has the Miss Bimbo we play today changed from your original concept?

My third question is: Are there any serious plans to sell adspace on Miss Bimbo? If yes, how will this be done? If no, why not?

My fourth question is: If a real life celebrity bimbo (no names) came to you and said she wanted to endorse the game, would you take up her up on her offer? If yes, why? If no, why not?

And my last question is for Koopa: Wil u chlng mez fo yo steakz pleeez? Cheesy

1) hello - yes Nico (Koopa) is working on a template now and in 2 weeks or less thesite will be up to date with the French one. Every update on both sites will automatically update on the other site and vice versa. However because the English bimbos are cooler this will officially mean that the English site is the best bimbo site!

2) Nico came up with the site. It is still fashion based and will remain so. In the future I forsee  fashion companies wanting to use Miss Bimbo as a means to test their new lines on a cool and fashion conscious market. I dont think there is any place on the net where you can find such a high concentration of cool fashion conscious bimbos.

3) advertising?? we havent had time to think about it. We get some enquiries but as yet havent followed them up. We would maybe entertain the idea if cool fashion companies advertise but we don't want non related sites on missbimbo.com If we did it it would be only small ads and in a cool style.

4) Already anserwed above. Come on Paris - we all know you are the Queen of the bimbos. The patron saint. There is no point in trying to deny it. Atthe monet I think she is in denial but I dont think it wil be long until she has registerd and appears on the site.

5) Koopa isnt here - he is in France visiting his Mum and Dad!

What girl or what type of girl was the inspiration for miss bimbo?

Good question. I dont know. It was the designer who came up with the initial drawings. But we like her and so she has stuck!
